Internet cuts off when running things

Hey, my internet's been having a problem. I'll be playing a game on my PC when out of nowhere, the internet cuts off for a few seconds, just long enough to kick me, or I'll be downloading a game off Steam and it cuts out, I get the orange triangle in the internet status box, then it will kick in and the download starts back up, and I'll play Youtube and it will cut off, and when it comes back I can open a game on my phone (Clash of Clans is the game) and it cuts out, do you know what I need to do? I have a Linksys E1200 v2 router with the DD-WRT firmware, and I'm hardwired to it.

You're good.
That is best handled by your ISP. There is something seriously wrong there, and the troubling part about it is there a a lot of things that could be causing the problem.

Hate to say it, but contact your ISP customer support.

That was the plan, calling them, I think I've traced it down to the modem because when the internet goes off, the phones are down too, and both the phones and the router are hooked to the modem.
