My PC used to wake up almost instantaneously. Now it's up to almost 30 seconds. I'm running Raid0 on a pair of Samsung 840 Pros. Running a 4770K... I don't get it.

I use the following to put my computer to sleep.form an AHK script.

Run Rundll32.exe powrprof.dll`,SetSuspendState Sleep

Can someone shed light on the sleep/wake process and clue me in?

Thanks

Keith

RAID on an OS drive can create major problems - especially when you put the computer to sleep....I would suggest having a single OS drive in a non-RAID configuration - RAID for data and/or programs isn't as big of an issue....

I build RAID systems at work all the time - but I would never use it for home use - especially without a proper RAID controller (the RAID controllers in consumer boards do not compare to the server class RAID cards) - and even then - NEVER, NEVER, NEVER on the OS drives....
