i bought my copy of Starwars Galactic Battlegrounds Clone Campaigns for 13 dollars in 2001 when I found it at gamestop, now looking at it in 2014 I'm wondering why it costs sooo much now on Amazon

Because it is an old product that is no longer available. More like buying a collectors item for Star Wars fans.

Galactic Battlegrounds is expensive now because it hasn't seen any form of re-release since its original printing back in 2001, and has not been placed on any digital distribution service. As such, the game is rare, and there's only a small number of used copies circulating at any given time, so it can command a high price premium.
