Basically I just built a new computer using pc parts picker, and setup the components in the right like making sure the wires are tied on, and that there was enough air intake with the computer to run. For some reason though it would shut off randomly. I made sure the computer had enough space on my desk for air to go in and out, and not within a cabinet to prevent overheating. Should I buy an extra cpu cooler to for extra protection or could it be a wiring issuing after all.

Solution
First of all remove your heatsink and check the TIM or thermal paste. Then reseat the heatsink. Then check your temps.
It may be that you may want an aftermarket cooler but check things first.
