Is buying another 8GB worth it?

My birthday is in 3 weeks and I was gonna ask for more RAM., I just built my computer and I have 8GB 2x4 g.skill 1866MHZ RAM. I Record/Stream everyday and edit/render videos as well. I also am gonna dedicate 8GB to minecraft if I do buy another 8GB.

Well adding more ram to your system CAN improve performance of you system, but it has to be a very specific case. It only improves performance if you dont have enough ram for what you need.

For example, if your system uses 6 gb of ram, and you only have 4, then adding more ram can improve the speed of your system.

To check how much ram your using, do you normal routine of streaming and recording and edtting and minecraft running all at once, then open your task manger and see how much ram your using. If the RAM usage bar isn't full, then you pretty much have enough ram. If it is at 100% RAM usage, then I would suggest you get more RAM.

Only about 70 but I cant render cause I have no videos. My cpu is about 60-90 tho.

Its at 68%. My CPU peaked 90%. Im gonna get more RAM. CPU is down to 70% now that I stopepd recording and only streaming.
