Hi,
I have a Toshiba L650 Laptop (PSK2CU-15Q01X) Running Windows 7.
In an attempt to improve performance i have purchased a crucial SSD and 2x 4GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1.35v 1600Mhz Ram sticks. (Laptop currently has 1x 2GB and 1 x 1GB)
After installing and attempting to boot it will look like it is loading windows before going to a blue screen that says IRQL_not_less_or_equal
Heavy assumption that this means it cannot support this much ram?
I also tried it with only 1x4GB stick and it still gets the error.

I have just tried putting my laptop model in the crucial website upgrade suggestions (Slightly different model number?) and it suggests the same ram that i have just bought
HERE

After swapping my old ram back in laptop works fine, put the 4 or 8 GB in and blue screen again. Yes i have ensured that they are inserted correctly. Is ther any BIOS setting i may need to configure?
Help is appreciated

The top ones are different part numbers because it is a 1X 1GB and 1 X2GB stivks, that is what it is currently running fine.
Yes the Corsair is the new ones.
The Laptop is running fine with the Old ram sticks installed so how would a system restore help?
It is only showing 4GB because at the time i only had 1X 4GB installed

No It still will not boot with only 1x 4gb or 2x4gb
But it boots fine with the old ram (1x1gb 1x2gb)
It comes up with the loading windows 7 for a second then goes to blue screen,so I was still able to access that screen by pressing the F key

I'm not sure where to find that information? But like I said before I think the ram I bought has the same specs as the ram recommended on the link I posted to the crucial website for my laptop. Not 100% sure tho if somebody could have a look at the link
