Here is my rig, pretty low end

AMD A86600k 3.9ghz quad

8 gig DDR3 2133mhz ripjaws Gskills

HD7950 oc edtion 950mhz

msi motherboard A55M-E33

Aerocool predator white

750 watts true rated PSU

I want to set up crossfire, please advise me on the following

1. best mobo replacement
2. perfect GPU that will go in harmony with my 7950
3. how about my processor?
4. how about the PSU? do I need to ditch my 700 watts true rated PSU?

Personally, I wouldn't be looking at adding another graphics card in that rig as one HD 7950 is already a bit overkill for that CPU in my opinion, saying that, the only cards that will Crossfire with your 7950 is another 7950, a 7970, an R9 280 or an R9 280X.

The cheapest FM2/FM2+ motherboard I could find with 2 PCIe slots is the MSI A78-G41 but you'd be running Crossfire at 16x/4x, you're probably gonna pay over double the price for a motherboard that allows you to run Crossfire at 16x/16x, the MSI A88X-G45 is the cheapest I could find. Your 750w (700w?) PSU should be fine, hopefully you have a good quality one :)

i DO not wanna ditch my 7950, how about my apu and my PSU? I am really planning to upgrade my processor as well, whats your 2 cents about this?

I know! that is why i am ditching the processor as well, no problem with budget, this is actually the last time that I will upgrade this rig, I just want the max performance on a per dollar basis, I already decided on the board, PSU seems fine, so i guess the only thing I will think about is the processor. I do not like the 8 core processor though, waste of money / electricity in relation to performance

The next rig will be intel based, for now I want this rig to be balanced in all aspects
