I tried to download winrar from winrar.com. then it said norton blocked an attack. My screen turned blue (windows 8). The one that said sorry we ran into a problem. Then I tried to startup my laptop after taking the battery out and pressing power buttin for 1 min. Then I get this startup screen with green lines or just a black screen even though I can hear the laptop working. I u guys can help me that would be awesome

Ok that is bad..
You will need to get a usb drive with win8 recovery in it..
You can get it ms website or another win8 laptop to create a recovery usb.
Try to bootup the laptop and get to its bios, by pressing del or f2..
Then check it the hard drive is still detected..
Change boot order to usb first.
Save and exit.
If somehow you are unable to load the bios, then send the laptop to service.
The OS has been corrupted
Or you can replace the laptop hard drive.
