HI, My Desktop just gave up so I'm rebuilding, and would like some advice.

It's mainly a gaming rig. I'm in the UK.

I'll reuse my Antec 900 case and I have a Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200RPM.

I usually use dabs.com and they have some self build bundles. I was thinking of going for Asus Intel Z97 Gamer Bundle £336 which consists of:
Motherboard Asus Z97-K Intel Motherboard
CPU Intel Core i5-4690 and
Memory Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB) Vengeance Pro Black DDR3 1866MHz CL9 Memory

I'll then add
Video card Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB PCI-Express 3.0 DirectCU II OC STRIX £298
CPU Cooler Arctic Cooling Freezer i30 Intel CPU Cooler
£27
Power supply EVGA 650W SuperNOVA NEX650G 80+ Gold £63
Total £697

Dabs also do another bundle Asus Intel Ultimate Bundle consisting of:
Mother board Asus MAXIMUS VII RANGER
CPU Intel Core i7-4790K
Memory Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB) Vengeance Pro Black DDR3 1866MHz CL9 Memory
This would cost an additional £100. Is it worth the additional cost?

I would be grateful for your advice or alternate suggestions. Thank you

Looks like a good build for a pretty reasonable price! The second bundle isn't necessary unless you definitely require a more powerful CPU.
One thing i would personally change is the PSU; i would get a 750w just in case i decide to throw in a second GPU.

Good luck with your build! :D

P.S. I'm also getting the Asus GTX 970 (great card!)
