That depends what games you play, we dont know what next years and the year afters games will be like so you cant really say. You should be safe for a while

I cant say that without knowing what type of games you play. It will be a while thats all i can say, a 780 is a strong card and you will be alright for a while

you won't need to upgrade your CPU for a LONG years to come, same for your Ram .. and your GPU will probably last 4 years at least playing Ultra/Tweaked Ultra/High

780 wont run 60 frames in star citizen at ultra right now, 4 years is too long. It depends on the games. The cpu should be fine for a while until games start using more than 4 threads (this wont be for a long time)

the GTX 770 will most likely last 2-3 years on ultra .. that means GTX 780 will Last longer than that.

of course he won't run all games with 60 frames the whole 4 years .. but my optimistic guessing that he will be able to run most games with playable FPS on ultra for 3-4 years to come with the GTX 780.
as for the cpu remember that core 2 duo has lasted too many years running all games , i think and i hope we will be safe with i5 for a long time.

It wont make playable frames after 4 years on ultra but it will be on medium-low. The cpu isnt a problem
