Pending Curent Sectro

i have wd 160aabs hard disk and currently it showing 1 pending sector i zero formatted drive with DLG but still it showing current pending sector except cabinet i have changed all the parts of the system even though my ups also but still corrupting ma drive and current pending sector problem

What to do for this ?

The drive is starting to fail and will gradually get worse. Replace it as soon as possible:

Note the sentence from the above page:

"This is a critical parameter. Degradation of this parameter may indicate imminent drive failure. Urgent data backup and hardware replacement is recommended"

Hi there gigoe,

Have you used quick erase or the full one? If you have used the quick one, I would suggest you to run the full erase which will eventually zero fill the sector.
As Philip Corcoran mentioned, once there is a bad sector on the drive, more will eventually appear sooner or later. It will be a good idea to back up the data that is on it. I would advise you to regularly check the drive's S.M.A.R.T status.

I would say that there is no way to stop the process. This does not mean that you can not use the drive or that it will fail soon. You just have to back it up as soon as possible and make regular back ups. Another thing you can do is to make regular checks on the drive with the DLG tool to see whether the drive is getting worse fast.
How old is the drive? Usually, bad sectors appear on older drives. This is an indication that sooner or later it should be replaced.
