Hey

I cant decide what cpu i will buy

1: MSI B85M - E33 with Intel I3 4150 3.5GHz

2: AsRock Z97M Anniversay edition with Pentium G3258 3.2Ghz

3: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 with FX-6300 3.5Ghz

I am gonna play league of legends with an R7 250 on 1080p on this monitor http://www.netonnet.se/art/dator/bildskarm/monitor-23-till-24-tum/aoc-g2460fq/206286.3020/

And i like to have youtube etc on the backround. Tho in the future i can upgrade to an I7

So what is the best cpu for me?

Solution
I would either get the Pro3 or the HD3 because the others aren't such good quality (the Anniversary is better than the MSI boards, but the Pro3 is even better).
Well, as I see it, you can't have the AMD FX-6300, since that won't upgrade to the Intel i7 without needing a motherboard replacement. The Intel i3-4150 comes with a crappy motherbaord that's genertions old and unsuitable for anything but business-class PCs.

That leaves the Intel Pentium G3285 on the rather nice z97 cbipset motherboard. Now it all depends on how soon you plan to upgrade, because spending that much on the motherboard, maybe you can afford a better interim processor? Or if it is going to be a while before you upgrade, that Pentium can Overclock on a much cheaper board, and then you can possibly save some money to replace both motherboard, RAM and processor when you upgrade next?

1, The board sin't THAT crappy, something worse would be a P67 board:)
2, Seriously? The boards an 8-series, so it's the generation before the 9-series boards. Exaggerating, are you?

If I had to choose worse boards, there are many and all of them are irrelevant.

As for the MSI B85 board, it's only "not that crappy" if you are used to even crappier products like a Pentium P4, for instance.

First off, the B-prefix designates it as a "business" specific chipset with features only of interest to businesses, such as asset management, etc, In that category it has to be compared with the Q85 and Q87, which are both better, but still not targeter to consumer use.

Here is the Pugest Systems description of the B85:
B85 The B85 chipset is the "budget" business option and as such is very limited compared to the other business chipsets. As such, it does not support iSIPP or vPro. Like the Q85 chipset, it has four SATA 6Gb/s ports compared to the six found on Q87. The B85 chipset is a good option for systems that need only basic functionality without the various features found in the other business chipsets.

Then we have to look at what came out for consumers (gamers that are interested in overclocking) since then, That would be the H87, the z87, the H79 and the Z79.

I'm not exaggerating, and you are displaying a remarkable lack of insight into motherbaord chipsets. Given the profile computer you have, I have to think you've never actually built or upgraded a PC and that you're sitting here effectively on the sidelines giving rather poor advice and getting people into situations that they should not be in.

How many gamers have you advised to use a B85 motherboard as a gaming platform? And can you defend your assertion that it is a suitable motherboard for the OP? Can you tell me something about the voltage regulation on the MSI B85 E33? And how it differs between the V1 and V2 versions of that board?

I wouldn't use that board as it's geared toward cryptocurrency mining.
This would be better:https://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-h81mdplus

Cant buy from newegg/amazon or anything that isnt in sweden.. but i looked them up and the i5 here in sweden cost self 200USD

But i just saw the MSI Z97 PC MATE for around 100USD and the I3 4150 for around 140USD so i think i can stretch my budget for a little bit better what do you guys think of this?

1, I actually AM using a Pentium 4 CPU, the P4 521, to be precise, and it lets me go on the internet and watch videos without a problem.
2, There is no such thing as H79 and Z79, do your homework.
3, Never. H81 chipset motherboards are more affordable.
4, It's a suitable board because it lets you use Haswell CPUs until OP decides to upgrade.

I wouldn't get an MSI board as they have QC issues.

There were no relevant points that expanded on your defense of the B85 chipset as suitable for a gaming PC build. Instead you fell back to bringing up the venerable H81 chipset as a strawman and then in the very next post you yourself have issues with MSI and their quality control.
