I started a fresh Windows 7 and dowloaded the Chipset Driver, everything went fine until i installed the LAN driver on their website. I downloaded it and restarted my computer, there was no connection so i tried the windows solving thing, it told be that the internet card had a problem with the driver. Then i went into The unit manager or whatever to check out the drivers, then it said that the unit could not start? i have a link to the pictures here, but they are in norwegian: http://imgur.com/a/2eOcg (first pic: This unit cannot start, second pic: The card .............. had problems with the drivers or hardware) is the ethernet card in my motherboard broken? or am i just dumb?

Do you mean trying to download the driver from the website on a different computer? and then get a memory stick and load it onto the pc?

Yes, that is what i meant. Is this the latest version you see?
Version 16.5.0.0

Yes, i´ve tried both of the drivers on there. Also tried to extract the files on another computer then over to the computer i´m working on, but that didn´t work either.

Ok, so now that i tried that i first updated from the driver file that i already had installed. Then it said that everything was updated. Then when i tried to do the same thing with the newer version it said that Windows found the update, but there was a problem updating? Would it be easier to just buy a Ethernet card? is it a possibility that the one in my motherboard is broken for some reason?

I wouldn't use Window updates to update motherboard drivers or GPU drivers. I set mine to only Windows as their suggestion can cause conflicting results.
The ethernet on the motherboard should work fine.

Im sorry if this is a stupid question, but it what your saying that i should update my windows through Windows Updater? to see if it finds an update for the motherboard? ( and isn´t windows updater a updater that needs internet? )

I missed the " n't " on would.

oh okey haha! But should i try to Install windows again and try to download the drivers over again? What would you suggest i start with? The LAN driver, or the Chipset Driver?

It wouldn't matter which order you install. I would suggest reinstalling windows just in case.
