hi guys i have a very big problem about building a new pc.I dont know what components to buy, do i need a entry or medium end level pc.I would be playing latest games and i want to be future efficient pc.Budget i saround 500$ but i can increase and decrease it (depend on what components i will buy). And what about second hand gpu or cpu?I am planing to buy those components:some low end i5 (3330p or 3350) or pentium(g3220 or g2030) and what socket is better for me lga1155 or 1150. And what about a 32nm athlon x4 740?fotr the gpu i found those:r7 260x . gtx 750 and a gtx 570 (570 is older but it is better i think) and some second hand r9 280 and hd 6970/7950.Also suggest me some mobos (100 $).Do i need 4 or 8 gb of ram and how many inches monitor do i need? Oh i forgott to say that i dont want overclocking! I am looking forward to your answers!

If you get intel you want an 1150 socket, it's newer than the 1155.
I honestly think an i5 is out of your 500$ budget, you will be able to get a pentium or i3.
AMD is a good option if you're on a low budget too, but not an athlon, maybe an A10 or FX.
Try to get the second hand R9 280 or 7950 if you can get them cheap. You have the risk of it being 2nd hand of course.
If you want to fit a monitor in a 500$ build, that is a very tight budget, probably not enough to play the latest games in more than the lowest settings.

My recomendation for 500$:

I would rather go with what this dude said. Just take out the case if you have one already.

Reference GPUs are hotter and slower in nVIDIA! Please give reference.

Reference cards comes with one fan and the cooling is not so good and its also loud plus if you compare the clock speed of a reference with a non reference gpu then you will notice that the non reference has higher clock speed.

Reference Graphic Cards are those manufactured which strictly comply the specifications of the technology partners. The specifications include the architecture, chipset, GPU, memory, cooling system, design, and even the minor components used in building the graphic cards

Non-Reference Graphic Card are those graphic cards which are modified version of the reference graphic cards. The manufacturing partners make changes (to reference graphic cards) to the design, cooling system, PCB design etc and sell them in the market as non-reference graphic cards. The usual changes in non-reference cards include changes in physical design(size) and cooling system (Fan Sink or Liquid Cooling System) to improve the overall performance of the graphic cards.

is gtx 760 better than r7 270?

Yes gtx 760 is better than r9 270 but at the same time it will cost you 40 - 50 bucks more and the difference is 6-7 fps at max.

Yes, 760 is better than R9 270.

Just asked for references not what I knew already. Thanks for great insight though. :)

I dont doubt your knowledge i just want to share mine :)

Yup thanks.

HD 6990n is a strong card but its is a power hungry beast it have a TDP of 375 watt and i will not use any thing less than a good 750 watt PSU for a card like also it generates a lot of heat and noise.

Not bad to start with.
