What graphics cards can a 5180×2880 resolution?

I have seen the new iMac screen and I was wondering what graphics cards can handle it properly? And frankly, what games or even videos are made in this 5k resolution?
It seems to be overkill for practical desktop usage unless some company puts out an 80 inch monitor or is that not true?

Well, the point in 5K over 4K is mainly for media production. You can preview the entire 4K video while also having space on the screen for option, buttons, controls, whatnot.

Now I don't know exactly graphics card can game at 4K, but it definitely needs a lot of VRAM. However, this mac is not for gaming (and nor are any other macs).

This product mainly targets people who want to create 4K content.

Honestly, I kind of agree with you. I don't see the point in 4K on a desktop, unless it is for a big project like a movie. But if I was making a movie in 4K, I still wouldn't use this.
