I am upgrading this computer and I really need help

Solution
Well, I recommended a graphics card like the GTX 460. As for a powersupply, a 600-650 watt PSU should be fine to power it and that Core 2 Quad. Like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438014 (this is the American site)

Anything beyond GTX 470 graphics power is kind of useless because the CPU can't keep up with such fast graphics cards. It is also, recording gameplay with software like fraps uses CPU power, not graphics power.

Why even bother upgrading the GPU? That computer already comes with an HD5450. That will easily play Minecraft and is still pretty good for playing most other games. Here is a video showcasing the games it can play

Yeah you can do better, but that older Core 2 Quad will limit the capabilities of a newer high end graphics card. However, if you were to get a better graphics card, I would go with a used GTX 460 1GB, or whatever the AMD equivalent is.
