4x4 RAM - will stress on memory controller (MC) damage other components?

So I understand the MC is located on the motherboard, but if the stress becomes too much - by using 4 sticks - and eventually the MC fails, will that also adversely affect my CPU and RAM? Or will my motherboard just be shot?

I should also mention that my memory usage is always at a minimum of 80% - will this stress out the MC more?

I'm currently running 4x4 RAM at 1333 mhz.

Solution
In large part depends on the mobo/CPU combo, newer mobos have the MC in the CPU, and while AMD has weaker MCs than Intel, the newer FX CPUs can handle 4 sticks at 1333 with little problem, might take just a hair extra CPU/NB voltage. If it's and older mobo, like a 775 or older AMD CPU like a 965 or under, then it's a bit more stressful, but they should still run for years if properly set up

Code:

That is true! Though I've read of how high memory usage and 4 sticks really stress the memory controller, so I was a bit worried.
