I am looking to get 2nd ram for my laptop ,but i am not able to find a ram with exact timing ,so my question is it necessary to have rams with same timing in laptop ,and what if they are little bit different .
my Ram timing is 11-11-12-28 (i think so ) i checked it from cpuz and i think this is timing
ddr3 1600mhz v1.35 4 gb
or if anyone know where can i get a ram with this timing please give me a link
thanks in advance

Solution
As you know it is suggested to match memory sticks exactly for best hopes of no problems. The farther you go from an exact match, the more you open yourself up for a potential conflict. All else being equal though, same manufacture, same family of memory, same voltage, same speed, just slightly different timings, the 2 sticks should work together just fine. Whatever the speed and/or timings of the slowest stick is what your board will default to, and operate at for all sticks.
