I currently have 5 140MM Corsair AF series fans installed in my case, but I was lurking around on Amazon then I saw some brands that I never seen before, since I live in Europe I'm not really familiar with NA brands. But, I couldn't be sure that these were really case fans or for CPU or Radiator cooling. My fans specs are 66.4CFM and 25.5DBA. But the fans I saw on Amazon was like 88CFM and 20DBA, so I thought does it really make a difference if I upgrade my fans? Maybe 3-4 celsius?

The brands I'm talking here are NZXT, Phanteks and Prolimatech. As specs go, they all seem to have some models that are better than my current fans, but like I said, I couldn't be sure if they were really high airflow case fans, or some type of static pressure fans for CPUs etc...

And If they are really for case cooling, can you guys suggest a model? Much appreciated, thanks.

Solution
By and large, the noise a fan makes is directly related to the rpm it runs at.
The cfm a fan delivers is related to the speed and diameter.
There may be second order effects of tonality.
Do not pay too much attention to noise measurements by the seller, the measurement is not standard.

If you are interested in optimum cooling vs noise testing of fans, go to www.silentpcreview .

I guess you just read the title. I already stated that I got 5 of Corsair AF140 series fans installed in my case. I was just asking information about some specific brands.
