So looking to build a gaming rig on a fairly tight budget. Moving countries so am having to buy everything from scratch (tvs couches etc).

So am looking for a pc that will be upgradeable should I wish to in the future but is definitely useable and decent for most games on the market.

I mainly play Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, Dota, Cs:go, Battlefield. I would like to play all these games on ultra ideally. I don't really have a preference on intel or AMD as I have had both in the past and was happy with them. I have never used an Nvidia card but know that often they are more expensive than radeons. Unfortunately this price will have to include a OS but i have keyboard/mouse and monitor.

If you could suggest a build that would be much appreciated, if anyone could suggest maybe an intel system then an amd system that might also help!

Cheers

Lew

I have edited your build a bit because the i5 4690 is a locked CPU and for that you dont need a overclocking z97 so i have added a h97 board instead the EVGA 970 are having heating issues so i have added the MSI twin frozer gtx 970 and the evga g1 are average PSU and for your build a 500 watt PSU is more than enough so i have given you a xfx 550 watt PSU.

Believe me i have tried to fit the gtx 970 in your budget but you have to raise your budget by at least 150 £ for that and i think if you can afford the r9 280x for 200£ then you must get the gtx 970 for 50 £ more.

Yea I think I am going to go with something very similar to this. Not sure if going AMD would make a big difference?

I thought they just did a big price drop on the mid range of GPUs brand wide....

For gaming intel CPu are better than amd CPU.
