So I got a Laptop from my neighbor that he was threwing out, and he has a bad habit of throwing computers out after "Attempting to Fix them". It's a Toshiba Portege (Model: R705-P25) and it wont boot up. It'll say starting windows (Windows 7) then it'll stay like that until a blue screen appears and says "Unbootable mountvolume". So I figured that I'd be able to reinstall windows 7 with a Disk I have. So luckily the bios works fine, and boot order. So when I boot from the CD, it says press any key to boot, which is normal. Then it says windows is loading files, after that it should load the setup, but it doesnt. It leaves me with a black screen and a moving cursor. (Even if i wasn't trying to reboot, I wanted to atleast get access to command prompt.)

I tried booting from a Windows 10 Technical Preview Disc which I burned, the windows logo appears and it shows the loading circle but then it shows a black scree after as well. I only did this to see if it would appear for that setup. (Note: Both CD's work just fine, I use them often)

Can anyone help me?
Is it the Hard drive? Does it have bad sectors?
I was thinking of putting one of my SSD's into it to see if it works.
