Hi there IDOMATH,

I would suggest you to go to the hard drive settings in BIOS and set it to AHCI. You can also switch the cables and connect the drive to another SATA port.
If nothing helps, you can try the drive on another computer.

Check your BIOS to make sure the drive is showing in the boot order correctly, check all your drive cables, make sure they are securely plugged in, try a different cable. If no luck with all this, then its possible your OS install has become corrupted, or the drive its self has went bad.

BIOS shows it and in the correct boot order. i checked all of the cables but it is very dusty. I will pick up some compressed gas duster on my way home. The computer isn't even a year old yet, how likely is it that the hard drive is bad already?
