Must reset time and date on startup

Every time I start computer in order to get on internet or access browser I must reset time and date, every time. Any thoughts why this happens? new build

if it a new build it be two issues. one the clear cmos jumper or button is not working right or is in the clear postion or the jumper fell off the mb. the other issue is the cmos battery on the mb is not seated right or the clip not holding the battery to the mb or the battery is bad.

I went into time setting click on tab internet time and in there synchronized the settings .this worked . thanks Also changed battery.
