I do not believe the CX Corsairs are poor psu's . They are Fords and not Ferrari's
But they get you there

Here is a quote straight from the Corsair website,
"CX Series PC power supplies are an excellent choice for basic system builds and desktop PC computer upgrades." Gaming does take the usage of a system far beyond that of what I would consider Basic there for consider something else if that is your main goal with the system.

Power supplies carry a rated wattage for a reason .
Gaming with the components above will not push anywhere near 500 watts . The psu will never be more than about 60 of its potential maximum .
Its a ford but its only doing 45 MPH , so it will be absolutely fine

The CX500 is more than sufficient to power his build , it's not the greatest in terms of quality , but it's also not a Raidmax.
