Ahoy guys!

So, I'm getting a friends pc that she asked me to fix for her, but I'm only getting it tomorrow. She explains that she turned it off and the next time she turned it on, DEAD! So what can be the problem? I have my pc (specs below) that I can test it on, but the parts might not fit. Any suggestions?

You'll have to test out the parts 1 by one. I'd test the power supply from her system to yours. If it doesn't boot power on, PSUs probably done. Try to test all the other stuff and if it all works, it's safe to assume the PSU's gone bad. However, regarding the CPU, it needs to be compatible with your mobo if you are considering to test it.
