Hello people,

I'm having some troubles finding out what my Motherboard temperatures are, my BIOS has a Hardware Monitor Configuration menu which says two temperatures: CPU and M/B, what does M/B stand for?

I'm kinda getting paranoid because I'm using someone elses PC and a monitoring program I'm using says (hopefully mistakes) the CPU BIOS temperature is actually my Motherboard temperature and of course is also says this the other way around.

CPU (BIOS) matches the programs Motherboard temp.
M/B (BIOS) matches the programs CPU temp.

I hope this isn't true because the "supposed" (hopefully wrong) "Motherboard" temperature reached a temperature a Motherboard can't cope much with.

Thanks in advance for any help/information given.

I found out the M/B temp. basically remains idle with daily PC usage, it only changes slowly when starting video games for example. You'd say M/B Motherboard, but why the / between the M and B.

I've used 6 different Monitoring programs and they can't identify what the temperatures on my Motherboard are, I know one is an inactive sensor, but the other two are either the Motherboard temperature or the CPU sensor on the Motherboard.

Only HWINFO says the know the answer (the program I mentioned above), but I hope that's false.
