SSD Unreadable after attempting to reinstall Win 8

SSD has stopped working while trying to reinstall windows 8. Getting an error message that drive is unreadable possibly corrupted. Any suggestions on how to get it working again?

In the meantime I have purchased a new SSD and will install Win 8.1 on it. I will try your solution after I get the PC going again. Thanks for your suggestion...I appreciate it...
