I am on the hunt for a motherboard to go in my gaming PC. I am looking for a motherboard max £100 (a little over is alright) For any other information feel free to ask.

Gaming Specs:
CPU: AMD fx4100
GPU: GTX770
RAM: 16GB
PSU: 650W

Solution

Ohh :p anyways so dont spend too much on a board when you are going to upgrade it after 2 month .

The processor is not worth a £100 board you are spending more on a board than the processor.
fx 4100 will hold back the gtx 770 so get a good processor and then think about getting a good board . A high end motherboard will not make any performance difference but a good CPU will.

Do you already own these parts ?

My current motherboard recently broke as when i switch on my PC i get an output but it doesn't load up bios or anything. I feel like static blew some things on the motherboard. Also 2/4 sata ports on the mobo broke so thats a problem. I am just buying a motherboard to game on and use while I wait for xmas. At xmas I am hopefully going to buy http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/T3m3mG I think you recommended these to me haha. Hopefully this is my last motherboard question. Next it will probably be the PSU.

Alright you sure this one will be fine for playing all my regular games, such as shadow of mordor and skyrim etc?
Thankyou for all the help as-well, im happy it says your a motherboard master as I fell like i can trust what you recommend me haha
I get so many different answers therefore I really don't know what to choose.
Whether this matters but normally I play on high-ultra settings. I dont know if it matters about the motherboard? Doesnt it really just hold most of the parts together?

Yes the board is just fine for the processor and motherboard doesn't affects the gaming or any computer performance you can get the same performance in games and other application with a 40$ board and a 300$ board just the high end board comes with many features and good thermals.

Fair enough then that good to know! One last quick question how would I put my motherboard inside my PC case as i heard that you need to not have any static present? Is this true and if so how do I prevent it. What do I have to keep in mind when assembling my motherboard inside my PC

Yes either you can get a static band and ground yourself with that or you can touch any metal objects before touching the board and touch the boards by sides carefully.

You can watch few videos on how to ground yourself before installing a motherboard properly video on YouTube.
