Would this computer build work correctly?

Hello everyone, this is my first time picking parts to build a computer and I would like to know if the parts I picked would work together correctly. Here are the parts,

Cpu: AMD Fx-8320 3.4Ghz, 8 core processor

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM

Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2 ATX AM3+

Ram: Kingston Fury Black Series 8GB 1600 memory

HDD: WD 1Tb 3.5" 7200RPM

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply: Crosair CX 500w 80+ bronze cirtified

Os: Windows 8.1

What's your budget? A more upgradeable Intel build can be gotten.

To answer your question, yes it will work but you must include a GPU to have video. I would change the PSU to a better quality unit though.

What is your intended use for the computer?

Oh the gpu I thought u meant something else well it seems like I missed that it is a GTX 970

In that case the build looks fine except the PSU. I would change it for an Antec, XFX, Seasonic.

You could politely ask instead of just coming in and not even answering the question he asked in the first place. All you did was ask his budget and tell him a different build could be had. That was ZERO help. That was not what he asked for.

To tell u the truth I wouldnt mine I would just like one that is affordable and can be very helpful and i've read that the 600w would work so I dont think i need to change it or am I wrong?
