Hi. all
My computer got a blue screen of death and wont restart.

I can start it in safe mode with networking but the sound is not working. IN the taskbar I am getting a message that the audio service is not working and a flagged message saying "solve a problem with the Nvidia graphics driver..(although when I click it, it tries and fails to connect to the internet although I can use internet explorer to connect to the web.
The only thing I installed in the past few days was a disk fro the "Vtech Innotech baby computer" for my niece, so I could download content for her tablet . I'm guessing this was buggy and messed with my pc.

My computer is a Packard bell Imedia S1300 with an AMD athlon 2 x 3 415e processor 2.51ghz
I am not sure if this helps but I will paste it any way.

Solution
Make sure Windows is up to date (Start, 'update', update).

Make sure all your drivers are working properly and are up to date in Control Panel, Device Manager.

thanks for the reply. I tried dvice manager last night and couldnt find any problems. Funny thing is this morning when I turned on the pc it is working again. So it seems to have fixed itself. Maybe something overheated?

this is the second time it happened, it fixed itself after some rest again last week. I will try to post the bsod image.
