quad-fire mobo needed

im going 290x in quad-fire on 4790k and i need the best one i can get im running 5760*1080 and want to be able to max games i have 2 gtx 690 sli and they are not cutting it im on an older 2500k and asrock extreme 7 gen 3 so i guess i will need new mobo cpu and power supply any help will be appreciated im going to be using ncix
 
Solution
You can go 3 way crossfire BUT your setup is going to run in a (1 x8,2 x4) and bottleneck.
You need a minimum of x8 to have a minimal bottleneck from X16 (1-3%).
So we would have 1 card in x8 mode (very minimal bottlneck) and 2 cards in x4 mode (which will hamper the performance of the cards by quite a big amount)

I'm currently looking for the chart on Tom's hardware about it.
