SATA HD Enclosure Question

Looking to get a hard drive enclosure for a 3.5 SATA drive. One of the enclosures I am looking at says SATA I/II. Is this any different from the ones that just say SATA ?

No enclosure uses the SATA spec, they use eSATA. It's much faster than usb but most people either don't have an eSATA port or only have one. Also there is only one version of eSATA, so I think you are getting detail on these confused.

The first part is the internal interface and the second part is the external interface. Note that the second enclosure you listed can only really take advantage of the SATA II when hooked up through eSATA.
