Im only going to name the important parts in my build, it consits of a MSI P67A-G45 mobo and a Core i5 2400. My motherboard supports Ivy bridge via an update (ive updated the bios already). If this post is credible, it states that Intel will stop allowing orders for Ivy bridge processers by December 24 2014 (http://www.techpowerup.com/201586/intel-plans-the-retirement-of-17-ivy-bridge-core-processors.html). So considering I have a core i5 2400 should I just stay with it or update around November/December while I can. I use my PC for gaming (I have an AMD 7950 card). What do you guys think? I am happy with the performance my PC puts out, theres no reason for me that I MUST upgrade. I am only thinking if I should. What do you guys think?

If you are happy with the performance you're getting, there's no reason why you should upgrade and you'll be saving money. When the time comes and you're no longer satisfied with your performance, that's the time to upgrade.
