Ticking HDD, BSOD HDD related, HDD Copying Assistance

As the subject states I believe I have a dying hard drive, I get the occasional BSOD from it. My question is which software is the best for completely copying the HDD, it is a 500GB and I would be copying it to a 2TB, will it present any issues as well?

NO, don't get Spinrite, if you are just testing.
