Hi guys,

First time poster, long time lurker. I'm looking for a new mouse for my computer. I currently have a mad catz rat 5, however the tracking is starting to mess up. It also can't track well on black mousepads as Ive found out. I've narrowed my shortlist down to about 5 mice (no particular order);

1. Steelseries Sensei Pro
2. Razer Deathadder Chroma or 2013
3. Logitech G502
4. Corsair M65
5. Zowie FK1

I've heard good and bad about each of the mice. The weight, sensors and other aspects. I'm right handed and don't really care about macros or other buttons. I just want the best performing mouse. I'd like to have a mid weight mouse with an adjustable weight system. I'm thinking about getting a qck mousemat.

For FPS shooters the Razer death adder is cheap, and has possibly the best sensor on the market. If you wanted more macro buttons the Logitech G502 Proteus core is another fantastic option. Everyone will have their personal preferences, both of these are good mid sized mice, low and mid weight respectively, and don't cost nearly as much as other top of the line mice.
Both of these mice are also great for FPS because they use an optical mouse that dont suffer from acceleration.

While i haven't tried the Qck mouse pad, i was considering to get it. Another mouse pad worth consideration would be the Logitech G240

Hi there,

The sensei proved to be one of the best ambidextrous mouse on the market, the mlg assosiation is no coincidence.
However I always liked ergonomic, right handed mice better, and the deathadder, among many other features, is exceptional at comfort.
IMO an adjustable weight system or the lack of it is no big deal, as these are well weighted mice and you are definitely going to get used to them quickly.
