Flash drive & DVD - which one is better for OS install?

I have experience of both and have found OS issues with both, though I'm not sure they had anything to do with the installation method.

I would have picked the USB flash drive, but since I can't find it at the moment I'm considering the DVD method. Would you guys say there's any difference, if so, is the DVD method inferior?

I personally prefer the DVD method, I haven't had any issues with it myself.

USB is faster (especially if your motherboard has any USB 3.0 slots), but harder to find than a CD.

The DVD would be the Better choice because During a OS installation depending on the OS it may shut down the USB Drivers temporarily causing the OS install to Fail or Corrupted
