I am looking to build a desktop for around $900-1000. I want to be able to run most any game(skyrim, shadow of mordor, witcher 3, etc) pretty well. I am a beginner at this, but I was wondering if watercooling would be possible? If it would be too difficult or costly, it is fine and I will not do this. I do not need a mouse. I need an OS, keyboard, monitor(would like at least a 20" decent one). Thank you for any help! It is much appreciated.

Solution
Yes the 285 is NOT for desktops. Sure it can be but you would have to be kicked in the head to use it while knowing it's intentions.

OP you need to use an HDMI cord or the blu ray is rendered useless. DVI and VGA and DPP cannot transfer blu ray. ONLY HDCP compitable monitors and TVs will allow for this. Legend why do you have a 4x2gb kit? o_O

Another question, many of the items are just the OEM, not retail. Can I get the OEM versions and be fine? Will I need to buy cables separately or will the MOBO have the plug-ins already there for me to simply plug it in?

Depends what item is OEM. OEM OS means you cant take it off that computer and put it on another. OEM stuff basically just doesn't come with CDs and manuals and stickers and random useless cords. Read the contents of the OEM product. Usually your motherboard and case has everything you need
