2,000 budget, a little over is fine.
For a case I like this one, https://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-rc942kkn1 but I am open to suggestions.

I have started streaming full time on twitch.tv and am doing so from an asus g seriese gaming laptop. It works, but it wont cut it for long. I need to build a new desktop, and need help. I am so out of the loop on all the new tech, I don't even know where to start. Any help would be appreciated, thank you! =)

Here is a dual monitor build, if you only want/need one monitor cut $129.99 from the build. This build is below $2000, runs really well, and it's got good quality parts, and I used a Non-OEM OS so that even if you switch Motherboard you can still use it. You can overclock the CPU reasonably well and even if you don't you will still get great performance.

That's what I'd do... probably.
