Zotac 980 Amp! Edition

The only 980 I can find -- at all -- is a Zotac 980 Amp! Edition. It seems there is not much demand for this. Any reason? I'd get it otherwise; it's $549 USD.

zotac are a decent brand like palit, there cards are well made and pack way more for the money than many of there more renowned counterparts.
i first hear of them back in 2007 and i cant say ive heard a bad word about them...
so yeah while they may not be a popular brand there cards are pretty much as good as they get.

Would you suggest ASUS STRIX over this? It's $30 more, but will take ~2 weeks to come in from Amazon.
