I bought a desktop computer from a friend after he decided to downgrade, great deal, and he is completely trustworthy, but the only problem was it was a pirated version of Windows, and the SSD was packed to the brim with editing software and other random files, leaving about 3 gb usable, and it was an x32 version of Windows, meaning his RAM was being bottlenecked. Anyway, after i had installed windows proper with a CD, and formatted the SSD in the process i found i could not connect to the internet. It worked on the pirated version, i used it for a couple weeks before i decided to go down and buy Windows, but now it does not work. I've spent several hours working on this and I believe that it's a problem with the network adapter, though i may be completely wrong here. I know I'm using a Gigabyte GA-A75-UD4H Mobo, and I've tried installing the chipset, and other drivers including the LAN driver, but nothing has worked. I am 100% that this is a problem with the PC itself and not the Router/Ethernet cable, as I have not moved the Ethernet cable and am currently using the internet from the router to post this on my laptop. I tried to install a Realtek driver because that is what came up first on google, but any help would be appreciated.
