What can possibly be the issue?

PC Specs:
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
AMD FX8350 Black Edition
EVGA GTX 660 SC FTW
& 4GB crappy kingston value RAM

Basically my pc keeps crashing when I'm playing games like Assasin's Creed, Hitman and Watchdogs on minimum graphics though i can run Arma 3 on ultra settings just fine. Also it keeps crashing when i try render a video on After Effects.

Hi bud, thanks for the prompt reply, it is greatly appreciated. I don't overclock my system. And no, the vrtaucbl is not digitally signed (it's virtual audio cable and I don't need it so i can uninstall it) I was thinking it's really CPU related but even on minimum graphics Assassin's Creed will give me a BSOD, BUTTT when playing arma 3 on ultra settings nothing will happen... what made me post on this forum is the fact that my pc shuts off (not BSOD) while rendering videos on After Effects which really made me consider the CPU. Also, the heat-sync seems to be very cool so i think overheating may be out of the question (maybe)

it crashed again after uninstalling virtual audio cable. Seems to crash when rendering a video on Adobe After Effects. I guess it's faulty CPU?
