thermal compound on gpu question

if i buy a 180$ graphics card will there be good thermal compound on it or should i change it with a better one before i add it to my system

It'll come with a good stock thermal compound on it. No need to tamper with it for atleast some months, or when you start seeing increased temps (probably after a year or two).

Don't worry it will come with good thermal compound.

Some super duper high performance aftermarket paste might get it slightly cooler, but its not worth the risk of damaging parts and voiding warranty.
Not worth the trouble and money either.
