A while ago somebody on this forum told me that my graphics cards are really old and that i can get a card for $100 or less and that is better than both of my gtx 275's. I was wondering if you guys could show me these cheap awesome cards that are better than mine since i dont really have a clue what to look for. Thanks :)

current setup:
1200watt psu
intel core i5 760 @2.80GHZ
MSI P55-GD65 mobo
4 gb ram
2 gtx 275's

You can easily get a GTX 650 Ti for ~$100

But I'm not sure if it will beat the GTX 275 in SLI.

A single GTX 275 is at least 2 tiers below the GTX 650 Ti according to tom's

Its in the 12th band from the top if you have trouble finding it.

But a GTX 650 Ti is definitely more modern and efficient. I'd rather run one strong card because many games still don't use SLI well, if they use SLI at all. If the 650 Ti is at least 40+% faster than a 275 then it should flat out beat your old pair in any situation.

However I'd advice you to get something...

However I'd advice you to get something much better than a $100 card because your i5 and 1200W PSU could use a workout.
