soon i'l be upgrading my gpu, i know the basics if installing the hardware and psu requirements.
but i overlooked and thought okay i just uninstalled old gpu and installed new gpu + power supply now what do i do with old gpu drivers?

my specs

i5 4440 3.10ghz
gtx 650 1gb EVGA ( upgrading gpu to gtx 970 evga)
8gb ram
500w cooler master psu ( upgrading brand + wattage output to sea sonic / 650w gold psu.
windows 7 64bit
1080p monitor

here is my thought of what to do.

1st out with the old in with the new.
fire up the machine (Pc)
i have nvidia geforce experience to keep my gpu drivers up to date so i'm assuming geforce experience will detect my new gpu and there will be a note saying gpu drivers update etc. i go through the update process and then finished ready to game. Does this Sound about Right?

For best results I recommend:

Download the latest driver install package
Uninstall the current driver
Run CCleaner
Turn off computer and install new GPU
Start up the computer and install the driver.

I have found this to be the easiest and cleanest way to upgrade. You could run into issues if the driver doesn't properly update for the new GPU and the above process should just avoid the issue entirely.
