Hello Experts,

This is my first post and my first gig at building a budget HTPC. HTPC will be used for watching movies( 1080p , casual browsing, and downloading)

I have a spare MOBO lying, Intel DH67BL and my computer's MOBO is Gigabyte H77D3h I want to build a HTPC separately. which MOBO do I use?Intel DH67BL or GigaByte H77D3H?

My Plan: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/X6vFYJ . any other suggestions? I will connect my HTPC to Samsung 40UA6000 3D tv. network connectivity via Lan from router to TV.

I'm planning to get Edifier DA5000Pro to hook it up with my HTPC, any other choices ?

Ok, MoBo since I have one spare lying,, so I can pick either Gigabyte H77D3H or Intel DH67BL.
based on the above MoBo suggest a good CPU. Rest of them are:

CPU: ? suggest , based on Intel DH67BL or GigaByte H77D3H.
Motherboard: Intel DH67BL or GigaByte H77D3H - $0 , since I have both
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($38.25 @ Newegg)
Storage: I will use my existing 500GB HDD
Case: NZXT Source 210 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case ($39.99 @ Amazon) , how about Elite 361?
Power Supply: SeaSonic 300W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($42.98 @ Newegg)

I'm planning to connect Edifier DA5000 Pro to HTPC, is this ok?

I'll swap my MoBo, I'll be using:

MoBo: GB H77D3H
SSD: Samsung EVO series to run the OS
Storage: WD 1 TB Green
RAM: 4 GB
Case: CoolerMaster Elite 361
PSU: Seasonic 300W

I'm concerned about the audio, my initial plan is to connect Edifier DA5000Pro to the HTPC. Is this a good approach.

Thanks a lot experts. the most helpful forum I must say.

Final List:
MoBo: Intel DH67BL ( I have a spare)
Processor: Intel I3 3220 - INR 6500/-
Cabinet: CoolerMaster Elite 361 : INR 2200/-
HDD: WD 1 TB Caviar Green : INR: 3200/-
RAM: Kingston 2X2GB DDR3 INR:2800/-
PSU: Antec 450W INR 2725/-

Am I good with this? or do I modify my list. my main usage will be to connect to TV in a networked LAN to download and watch movies.
