Hello!

Is 65celcius hot a for a gtx 660 in games like Battlefield 4 and Shadow of Mordor? My idle temp when surfing the web is only 30celcius though.
I upgraded my PSU to a Seasonic s12ii-620 and i think the temp of my GPU did rise a bit from that, i may just be imagining that since i can't remember exactly how warm it was before.
Can the psu even affect the GPU in that way?

Also, reason why i upgraded my PSU is because i ordered GTX 970, will the 970 run even warmer?

Solution
Nope, 65C is a good temp, GPUs usually go into the 70-80C range while on high load. You're all good.
And PSU can affect the GPU in MANY ways, like it can cause GPU to freeze, or even overheat if voltage rippletion is not good. But that's not the case with your PSU, it's high quality. Rest assured. And GTX 970, due to having so less TDP, generates less heat and runs cooler, and will likely be in sub 60C or early 70C on high loads in your build.
