No idea what's causing this.

I have had quite a wild few weeks. For the past few weeks, my computer has been in and out of both Computer DenCity and some other computer store thing (A_____Computers or something like that), and it turns out that my computer was running slowly because of the GPU (it started up at 70°C), but that has since been fixed.

I have received my computer for the second time in the past 2 weeks, and for the first time, the front 3.5mm jacks have been changed. I have a Razer Kraken Pro headset (uses 3.5mm jacks), and they were functioning finely until recently (where the microphone became all staticky and low quality), but I suspect that that was a problem with the jacks. My microphone is fine now. It's just my computer doesn't recognize the headset as a connected device when connected through the front jacks. I can communicate on TeamSpeak fine, but no games pick up the sound if the headset is in the front jacks.

I tried the back ones, and they work fine. Problem is, when I'm playing ArmA 3 (haven't played anything since), and an explosion was audible, the explosion audio would be staticky, and my framerate would drop like crazy. This has never happened before.

Anyone know what's going on here?
