Hello i have a dell optiplex 745 cpu which was originally sold to me with pentium d 940 processor 3.2 ghz..... this processor is very old and low end so i want to upgrade my pc.... I wanted to ask that can my cpu be upgraded to core 2 duo or core 2 quad? here are my specs

So i should then go to the shop from where i bought this pc and tell them to upgrade it thats all? and plz if u can tell me how much would upgrading cost? is upgrading cheaper than buying a new core 2 duo or core 2 quad?
