On the fence about buying a CX500M / CS450M

So I'm looking to build a new pc and i need a new PSU since my old psu is merely 430 watts and it came with the case so it's not really good, has no 80+ certification either so i thought I'd need to get a new psu

Now I'm confused between the corsair cx500m or cs450m, both are semi-modular coz i hate the tangled mess the Non-Modular one is

But the latter is gold certified while the former is "only" bronze, but then again the cs450m is 50 watt less

My configuration is :
Amd athlon x4 760k
Nvidia geforce gtx 660 ti (not planning on OC)
corsair vengeance blue 4gb

My gpu needs a minimum of 450 watt so no problem there, but i wanna have some room for possible future upgrade, idk if I'll need the extra 50 Watt though, I'm most probably gonna upgrade to an Intel i5 and add a new block of 4gb ram
Not planning on upgrading the gpu in the foreseeable future, the gtx 660 ti is still holding up pretty well

I also might get a water-cooling

Is the gold standard really all that better than the bronze one? Is the increase in efficiency enough to merit a 50-watt decrease?

What do you guys think should i go with the cx500m or the cs450m?

Thanks in advance

I haven't had any problems in the two years I've had mine for, but I didn't have much choice anyway! I live in India :cheese:.
If you can get an XFX 550W, OP, then that'd be great.

Where do you look for a psu? Maybe a link to that site?

Between these two would i pick the cx 500m,only because the cs 450 has just one pcie cable, enough for the gtx 660,but for a more power hungry card not good enough. You would need to use an adapter, with the cs450,when a gpu would be bought that needed two pcie connectors for power, would not be my choice. With a gpu that only needs one pcie connector would i pick the cs450watt though
Looked it up,but the difference on the +12Voltrail,the most important now,is 30watts.Not that big a difference

.

Efficiency doesn't make a difference in wattage smaller,it only influences how much power is drawn from the wall to give the pc what it needs,a bronze unit will draw more power from the wall to give a pc 250watts than a gold unit, the 250watt that this pc uses remains the same.
