Alright, I've never OverClocked before. Always considered it but chickened out.
I've read a lot on it but want to know if my initial specs make it worth the effort.

Custom built PC Windows 7 -64bit
CPU: AMD Athlon ii x4 640 - "Propus"
Motherboard: Biostar A780L3G, chipset AMD 780G, South Bridge AMD SB700
Memory: 8 Gigs Corsair Dual Unganged DDR3. NB Freq 1999.9MHZ
DRAM freq 666.7, FSB:DRAM 3:10
Graphics: NVidia GTX 750 Ti

Is it worth even bothering? I've seen some people say they can get up to 3.8 from 3,0 but I'd be looking to get to 3.4 or 3.5 safely
I've read wildly different things and figured I'd ask :) If I need to provide more specs pls let me know and I'll find them in CPU-Z

Solution
Yeah, I doubt that motherboard has much for overclocking options. I would take a look though. If there are options to change voltage and multipliers than a new cpu heatsink is in order for overclocking.

Not entirely sure, friend who is excellent with hardware did put in 3 fans this weekend. Beyond that I'd have to ask him. I know Biostar is apparently quite cheap and I have no idea if my chipset there is worth overclocking on?
